This is a one-off throw pillow made from old shoes. That probably should make it not-so wanted, and cheap, but this thing also sports a price tag of $1200, and the label of “Art.” The two things that can make anything become an item of desire; except the old shoe part, of course.
The cushion shows off its old shoe lineage with its leather patchwork. Shoes are sewn together with suede backing and finished with hot wax buff. Innards of the couch sport removable feathers. It is signed by the artist and comes wrapped in a vintage silk scarf.
